One Game at a Time – Episode 5

Three England players retire | Scrum Queens

In Episode 5 of Rugby World Magazine’s podcast ‘One Game at a Time’, I speak to arguably the finest finisher her country has ever seen. Nicknamed ‘One Touch’, Katherine Merchant scored 44 tries in 58 international appearances, and I talk to her about her penultimate showing at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in France in 2014. This proves an excellent insight into the mindset of a winger, how athletes prepare for games, the psychology of sport and how being part of a team can change your life. It is well worth a listen.
